2.5pH acidic water

I've been busy working on some new unrelated projects (golf and charisma) and have just finished my new site about alkaline water -- http://alkaline-water-info.com

If it isn't already evident, the only machines I recommend now are those from Ionways and the good news is the under sink Delphi model is now available.

As you can probably imagine, I get inundated with all sorts of questions. I recently enlisted the help of Gavin at Ionways to answer this one:

Can I add anything to the calcium port to make super acidic water?

"You can add a little rock salt to the calcium basket that goes in our calcium port, and you will be able to produce 2.5 pH or thereabouts. Anyone making absolute claims about what any ionizer will produce does not really understand the technology...

The water going into the machine is the one variable we have no control over... the same machine at the same setting and flow rate will produce different results with different water...

That being said, I must also say that even at a pH of 4, or even 5, people get the same benefits. 2.5 sterilizes on contact, at 4 or 5 it still sterilizes, but takes a little time. For example, I had a severely infected ingrown toenail... I soaked it in my low acid water (without adding salt) for about 20 minutes... within a few hours the infection was gone... my wife had a weeping cold sore at the corner of her mouth... she daubed 4-5 acid water on it for a few minutes, and the sore was dried up and well on the way to being completely healed about 8 hours later... it would have been at least 4-5 days otherwise...

My point is that super acid water is not needed, I never put salt in my calcium port, and use the lowest acid water my machine makes without it, for cleaning veggies, treating cuts, cleaning counters, etc...

That being said, if someone sets up our machine next to an Enagic machine, using the same water and flow rate, our machine will meet or beat whatever the Enagic machine can do. This is an absolute I can state with total confidence."
